Chainat
Bird Park
located 2 kms. on the Phaholyothin Highway outside Chainat near
Phlong Hill, Thambon Tha Phra. The park is located on an area of
260 rai with huge bird cages, swimming pool, scenery hall, gardens,
suspension bridge and souvenir shop.
Chao Phraya Dam
located 8 kms. from Chainats township where the road branches off
at Khung Bang Kabian, Amphoe Sapphaya. It is a large dam having
a total length of 238 meters and a height of 14 meters. It was completed
in the year 1956.

Muni National Museum
This is located within the precincts of Wat Phra Borommathat. The
museum puts on display several kinds of artifacts discovered within
Chainat province including Buddha images of different gestures,
Thai and Chinese ceramics, as well as various types of votive tablets
with an expectation that the museum will eventually become the votive
tablet centre with most tablets in the country.

Mahathat
20 kms. from the Chainat township, is an old monastery of Praek
town of Muang San, Amphoe Sanka Buri. King Rama V visited this temple
and recorded that there were interesting places of historic importance,
together with Phra Prang Kleebmafeung which looks Kleebmafeung,
the petal of a star apple, standing on the rectangular base. It
is art from the Lop Buri Period.
Khunsan
Statue
"Hero of Noi River Basin" was one of the Bangrajan folk
leaders who fought against the Burmese. It is taken for granted
that he is a Sanburi resident. His statue is 2.50 meters high, standing
stately in front of Amphoe Sankhaburi's office.
Wat
Pak Khlong Makham Tao
an old monastery 25 kms, from Chainat township, is situated at the
mouth of the Makham Tao Canal of Mae Nam Tajin, branched off the
Chao Phraya River at Amphoe Wat Sing. The scenery in the compound
is beautiful, lush and shady. The most important part of the temple
is the mural paintings of Somdet Phra Borom Thur Khrom Luang Chumporn
Khet Udomsak. They tell the story of the Lord Buddha.
Wat
Thammamun Worawihan
This monastery, located at the foot hill area of Thammamun Hill
on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, Amphoe Muang Chainat, is 8
kms. from the township. It has been established since the Ayutthaya
period. The main attraction is a standing Buddha in the attitude
of peace named "Luang Pho Thammachak" which is highly
respected by the people.

Phra Borammathat Worawihan
This monastery is accessible through the road branching off from
the Chao Phraya Dam on the right to Amphoe Sankha Buri, by following
the old road one can see it on the right hand side.
